Focus and Scope

Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah provides a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research in the field of Islamic economics. The journal welcomes original and unpublished articles that explore theoretical and empirical issues related to the development and application of Islamic economic principles. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Islamic Philanthropy (Zakah, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf): Exploring the role and impact of Islamic social finance instruments in poverty alleviation, wealth distribution, and socio-economic development.
  2. Halal Supply Chain Management: Examining halal logistics, standards, certifications, and ethical practices in the halal industry.
  3. Islamic Business Ethics and Entrepreneurship: Analyzing ethical foundations, value-based leadership, and entrepreneurial activities rooted in Islamic teachings.
  4. Islamic Banking and Finance: Investigating Sharia-compliant financial systems, risk management, contracts, and innovations in Islamic financial institutions.
