About the Journal

Focus and Scope

This journal focuses on the application of science, technology, education, economics, social and cultural development, health, and environmental sustainability in solving real community problems. The scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Education and literacy-based community development

  • Technology application for small and medium enterprises (SMEs)

  • Health promotion and public health empowerment

  • Environmental conservation and waste management

  • Agricultural innovation and food security

  • Strengthening local economic potential and entrepreneurship

  • Governance and public service improvement

  • Social, cultural, and religious empowerment

Open Access Policy

Jurnal Pengabdian Siliwangi provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Readers are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, or link to the full texts of the articles, without prior permission from the publisher or the author.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright of their articles and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles in Jurnal Pengabdian Siliwangi are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which allows others to share and adapt the work with appropriate attribution and under the same license.

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Pengabdian Siliwangi undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two reviewers based on its relevance, scientific quality, originality, and contribution to community service practices.

Archiving Policy

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

Sponsorship and Funding Disclosure

Jurnal Pengabdian Siliwangi is fully sponsored and managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Siliwangi. The journal does not receive any commercial sponsorship or external funding.

To support the operational sustainability of the publication process, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 250,000 is applied for each accepted manuscript. This fee is established in accordance with Rector’s Decree of Universitas Siliwangi No. 1026/UN58/M/2025 and is used to cover editorial management, peer review, DOI registration, and online publication services.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

History of the Journal

Established in [year of establishment, e.g., 2025], Jurnal Pengabdian Siliwangi was founded as a platform to strengthen the dissemination of community service activities conducted by academics and practitioners. The journal continuously develops its publication standards to achieve wider national and international recognition.
